What is the Matervini Wine Club?

Enjoy Matervini’s limited availability wines with two Wine Club releases per year. Members enjoy access to the exclusive wines made by Santiago Achaval and Roberto Cipresso.

What are Wine Club benefits?

  • Free shipping to your USA address for 6 and 12 bottles club members
  • Free USA shipping on additional purchases of at least $500
  • Free shipping from Argentina for your first Club Release ($150 value for 12 bottles; $100 value for 6 bottles.)
  • 2 releases per year - Spring and Fall

  • Access to Library wines that are unavailable to the general public

What is the Wine Club obligation?

We hope that you will wish to be a part of the Matervini wine family for a long time. Your only obligation is to receive 2 allocations upon joining. Shipping on the first allocation ($150 value for 12 bottles; $100 value for 6 bottles) will be charged retroactively if the second club release is declined.

Can I change club levels?

Yes, you can change between 3, 6 and 12 club levels. We need to know before your card authorization is run for an upcoming club shipment. Your club benefits will be at the club level at which you choose to be. You can reach us: wineclub@matervini.com

Can I customize my club shipment?

Yes, this is an additional benefit for all Club 6 and 12 members. 6 and 12 bottle Club Members will receive an email prior to billing of your fall and spring shipments. You will have an opportunity to customize your preference (subject to availability), or automatically receive our Winemaker's Selection described in the email.

I just joined. When will my first and second shipments arrive?

If you joined while at the winery in Argentina, your first club allocation will be based on the wines you chose then. These wines will be timed to arrive shortly after the date you said you’d be back in the USA.

If you initially joined in Mendoza between December - June, your second shipment will be the Fall Club allocation; and if you initially joined in Mendoza between July - November, your second shipment will be the Spring Club allocation.

If you joined on-line between January - June, your first shipment will be the Spring Club allocation; and if you join on-line between July – December, your first shipment will be the Fall Club allocation.

When will my club wine ship?

Our Spring Club shipment will come to you in late March 2019. The Fall Club shipment will come to you in November 2019.

How do I remain a Matervini Club member?

We understand that circumstances may require you to miss a club shipment. You will remain a member in good standing by participating in 3 of the 4 most recent club shipments.

Which wines will I receive for a club shipment?

Matervini Club members will be the first to receive our newest release. For Club 3 members, most likely you will receive one bottle per label. 6 and 12 bottle Club Members will likely receive one to three bottles per label, and you will have an opportunity to customize your preference.

May I order wines outside of club shipments, or re-order wines that were in a club shipment?

Yes, subject to availability. Write to: wineclub@matervini.com with your preference. Your shipping will be free of charge for orders above $500.

May I order wines as a gift?

Yes, subject to availability. Write to: wineclub@matervini.com with your preference.

I'm traveling when my shipment is due to arrive; can I delay receipt?

Yes. Let us know by writing to: wineclub@matervini.com at least 3 weeks before the scheduled club shipment for when you would like your wine to ship. Your card authorization will be run at the same time as all club members.

What should I use as my shipping address?

Alcohol shipments require an adult signature and cannot be left at your door. Many members choose a work address to avoid missed deliveries.

How do I change my shipping address?

Go to My Memberships link (under wine club), then log in. Click on "Edit Profile" link. Scroll down to Shipping Address section and unclick box - use my billing address. Edit shipping address fields, then click red Save button.

How do I receive my Matervini Club invoice?

Go to My Memberships link (under wine club), then log in. Click on "Order History" link. Choose the invoice of interest and it will download as a pdf.

How do I update my credit card?

Go to My Memberships link (under wine club), then log in. Click on "Club Memberships" link. Scroll down and click on link, "No, I need to make changes." Go to Payment Info at bottom of page and change or update your card on file, then click Save Changes button.

How is my credit card information protected?

For the absolute protection of your card data, we outsource all storage and processing to Authorize.net; a highly secure, respected, and well-known payment processor. No card data exist anywhere on the website servers. This means if your account (or our servers) are ever compromised, there will be no cards for the attacker to steal.

When cards are saved to your customer profile, we send them immediately (and securely) to Authorize.net for processing and storage. In exchange, Authorize sends back a numeric token for the card, which we save to provide clients the ability to charge that same card in the future. Since these tokens can only be used by the merchant account owner (i.e., the winery), they are useless to an attacker.
